Thanks for reading, Paul.

Your anger isn't surprising. As I mentioned in my rambling essay, one hase to expect angry comments like yours when one writes about celebrities like Peterson, or Musk, or Rogan.

And while you try to suggest you're "no a JP" fan, you still feel compelled to defend him and lash out at me. I think, maybe, you're not being honest with yourself. You can be a fan of his. And I can pick him apart. Free country.

As someone with first hand knowledge of extermism, then, you know full well how powerful older men weaponize the fears and insecurities of younger men and in many cases, manipulate them into sacrificing their lives and futures for political gains. This is what is currently happening across this country, our country, and these men are not served by Peterson, and his ilk. Maybe -- MAYBE -- Peterson has good intentions. If so, he's wildly naive, and being taken advantage of by partisans who are monetizing the miseries of dudes who are, repeatedly, told they don't fit in (when they do.)

I can have compassion for the lost and the directionless, I write alot about it all the time. I write about sobriety and friendships and masculinity. Sometimes, people who are in pain need to be told the truth and Peterson is not telling his audience the truth, he's just letting them sulk and flop around in hurt feelings and blame other people for where they are in life.

Peterson is fair game. He's wealthy and famous and I'm neither of those things.
