Rogue One has one of the best third acts in the series and, of course, there’s that incredible kicker, a stunning moment of perfect fan service.

I love Rogue One because I love Seven Samurai/The Dirty Dozen movies, where a ragtag group of flawed characters sacrifices everything for the greater good. There’s a part of me that wants to see more genre exploration in Star Wars. Like, what if Solo had been more of a comedy?
