Mark, yes, of course I want to promote healthy discussions but I think one of the built-in flaws of any digital platform is these aren't machines built for debate.

There is a reasonable free speech argument neatly tucked into Peterson's pronoun positions -- and it's a very Canadian argument too, one of my countries tragically lacking a sexy first ammendment -- but time and time again he is flattered by transphobes and reveals himself to be quite intolerant of the "woke mob," whatever that is. I mean, I know what that is, and it's me, someone who gets pissed off when certain social conservatives try to enforce their stone-age worldviews.

I have been misrepresented for sure. I've been mocked and laughed at and honestly I don't know why I have replied to your comment but here we are, and our rhetoric is cooling (or at least mine is.)

But I can't help being misrepresented. The best I can do is try to write clearly and I don't always succeed. My words have to represent me, ultimately. So Imma keep trying.
