I have read some of his self-help stuff, a few chapters from 12 Rules for Life, and I found it basic in a positive way. "Clean your room" is also basic sobriety advice for instance. I have no beef with that kind of stuff. I get that dudes are feeling unmoored but I can't fathom why he is so addicted to the straight up partisan political path because alot of his self-help stuff applies to just people. I suspect it's money? Right?
