I didn't see you left another comment. Look: I get being angry at Atwater. I get being incandescently enraged at him and his priveleged ilk. He didn't invent the Southern Strategy, he just tweaked it and it's still being tweaked because the emotions of large swaths of this nation are still ruled by hate and prejudice and political opportunists abound.
